Important Information For Palembang Residents, This Year's Eid Train Tickets Can Be Purchased On February 26

PALEMBANG - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre III Palembang, South Sumatra, said that train tickets during the Lebaran 1444 Hijriah Transportation period could be purchased starting February 26, 2023.

PT KAI Divre III Palembang Public Relations Manager Aida Suryanti said, ticket reservations could be made through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, as well as all official KAI ticket sales channels.

"Especially for the sale of tickets for Eid transportation this time, KAI has implemented a policy by selling tickets starting H-45 before departure, so as of February 26, 2023 customers can already buy tickets for April 12, 2023 departure," she said in a written statement in Palembang, Antara, Friday, February 17th.

In normal conditions other than outside the Eid Transport period, KAI implements a policy for selling long-distance train tickets starting D-30 before departure.

This change was made, she said, to continue to improve services and provide opportunities for the public to plan trips by train during the Eid transportation period.

KAI reminds prospective customers to be careful in inputting dates, routes, and personal data when placing an order.

"Plan the trip as best as possible, including the estimated trip to the station. Don't get it wrong and end up not being able to go home for Eid," she said.

To deal with this Eid transportation, KAI will carry out various preparations in terms of facilities, infrastructure, and human resources.

KAI together with all stakeholders or stakeholders will carry out "Ramp Check" activities or Minimum Service Standard safety inspections in all railroad operating areas. KAI officers are also continuously prepared to realize the security and safety of train travel.
