Police Reveal Mother's Motive For Killing Her Own Child In Duren Sawit: Annoyed Because She Cries A Lot

JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit revealed the motive for the persecution that resulted in the death, done by the biological mother, to a 2-year-old toddler girl, her own biological child.

From the results of the testimony of the suspect with the initials NK, the East Jakarta Police said that the motive behind the victim's death was because the mother was annoyed that her child often cried.

"(Motive) Because she is annoyed, her daughter keeps crying," said East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Adjunct Senior Commissioner Ahsanul Muqaffi when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, January 25.

In addition to securing the suspects and evidence, the police are also still examining a number of witnesses regarding the incident.

"There are 7 witnesses being examined at the East Jakarta Metro Police," he said.

However, the Police Unit was reluctant to specify who the witnesses examined at the East Jakarta Metro Police. As many as 7 witnesses are still being questioned regarding the incident of persecution that led to death.

Previously it was reported, the East Jakarta Metro Police had named NK as a suspect in the severe abuse of her child until she died. Now, NK is languishing in the East Jakarta Metro Police detention cell.
