League 1 2022/2023 Transfer News: Persib Bandung Fills Asian Player Slots With The Philippines National Team Champion, PSS Sleman Gets 2 Experienced Figures

JAKARTA - Indonesian League 1 club, Persib Bandung, has finally found a player who will fill the Asian foreign slot. The player is the hero of the Filipino national team of Japanese blood, Daisuke Kato.

Kato fills the slot left by Mohammed Rashid. He is a player who plays as a left-back and has experience in European competitions.

The new Persib Bandung player has played for Romanian clubs, ACSM Poli Lasi and Sepsi OSK. He is also noted to have been in uniform for the Danish club, AC Horens.

After spending his career in Europe, Sato then returned to Asia and joined several Thai clubs. Last season, he defended Ratchaburi FC.

With the presence of Daisuke Kato, the composition of Persib Bandung's foreign players is confirmed to be complete. Previously there were Nick Kuipers, David da Silva, and Ciro Alves.

Meanwhile, PSS Sleman brought in two experienced players. Reporting from the club's official website, Seto Nurdiyantoro's team signed Jandia Eka Putra (goalkeeper) and Manda Cingi (midfielder).

Jandia Eka was brought in from PSIS Semarang. Meanwhile, Manda Cingi previously defended PSM Makassar.

"Of course, I will try and do my best for PSS because PSS is now my home," said Jandia.

Another Indonesian League 1 club, Persita Tangerang, also has two new players. The team nicknamed Laskar Cisadane officially brought in Israel Wamiau and Fahreza Sudin.
