Sheila Dara Slowly Prepares Sahur For Vidi Aldiano, Just Order If Want Something Else

JAKARTA - Living the first Ramadan as Vidi Aldiano's wife, Sheila Dara admitted that she had no trouble preparing the sahur and iftar menu for her husband Vidi Aldiano.

"It's not difficult (preparing sahur or breaking fast as a wife) because coincidentally someone at home helps too. So, not much has changed. At least if I want to eat something else, I will order. If not, it's normal," she said, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, April 19.

In addition, she admits, not much has changed from the moment of fasting in the previous year. "Not too much has changed, right. It feels like fasting and Eid before," said Sheila

On the other hand, even though she is still fasting in the pandemic era, Sheila rarely takes vitamins. However, she still advises those closest to her to take vitamins if they feel they need them.

"I've always rarely taken vitamins. I think my immune system is strong enough. But if I were to suggest it to my family and those closest to me, if for example you feel the need, take vitamins. Because it's still a pandemic," said Sheila.

Meanwhile, ahead of Eid al-Fitr later, Sheila explained that she did not have any plans for going home with Vidi.

"Don't know yet. Haven't thought about it yet. Because I don't know where the plan is going. And whether there is an event or not. But my family has always been the type to go with the flow. If you go, you go, if you don't, you don't," she said.

For a typical family menu on Eid al-Fitr, Sheila said that the menus that are usually available are ketupat and instant noodles. Because instant noodles have many flavors and are easy to make.

"For me (the typical Eid menu) ketupat and instant noodles. Because it's really delicious. There are many variations, there are chicken soup, chicken curry, then mix the ketupat. And it's also easy to make. So it's often my main choice during Eid. Sorry, it's not healthy," she concluded.
