The KPK Grants 1.2 Hectares Of Land To Singkawang City Government

PONTIANAK - Singkawang Mayor Tjhai Chui Mie said the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) would donate land assets to the Singkawang City Government, which is located in Sedau Village with an area of 12.622 square meters.

"The land is an asset confiscated by the KPK in handling corruption cases," said Tjhai Chui Mie in Singkawang, Monday, April 11.

Previously, the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission, represented by the Director of Asset Tracking, Evidence Management, and Execution, had socialized the activity of Handing over State Assets from Corruption Crimes by the KPK through a grant to the Singkawang City Government at the Mayor's Office, last Friday (8/4).

"On behalf of the Singkawang City Government, I would like to thank the Indonesian KPK for donating assets in the form of land to the Singkawang City Government," he said, quoted by Antara.

He hopes that the assets that will be donated can be utilized optimally to support the implementation of the public interest.

"I ask the related Head of Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to complete the administrative documents needed in the grant process, so that when the certificate of ownership is issued, it is designated as Singkawang City Regional Property," he said.

He reminded all ranks of the Singkawang City OPD to make this event a momentum to avoid corruption by increasing synergy and professionalism in their work.

"If all work is carried out according to procedures and is still within the corridor of applicable regulations, don't worry. Because the Indonesian KPK is here to collaborate with the Singkawang City Government to prevent state losses and realize a commitment to work professionally to realize Great Singkawang," said Tjhai Chui Mie.
