ASN Service Allowed Abroad In The Midst Of The COVID-19 Pandemic, This Is A Requirement From MenPAN RB
JAKARTA - The Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN RB) Tjahjo Kumolo has allowed the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to travel abroad.
This rule is contained in the Circular Letter of MenPAN RB Number 10 of 2022 concerning the Revocation of the Circular Letter of MenPAN RB Number 3 of 2022 concerning Restrictions on Traveling Abroad Activities for ASN during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The circular was signed by Tjahjo today, Monday, March 21.
"The purpose of this circular is to provide relaxation for State Civil Apparatus Employees who will travel abroad while still observing strict health protocols and travel protocols to prevent an increase in COVID-19 transmission in the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia", reads the circular. that's what was quoted Monday, March 21.
Furthermore, this circular also explains that there are several requirements for ASN to serve abroad, such as the obligation to obtain written permission from the staffing officer or authorized official.
In addition, ASN is required to comply with the protocol for overseas travel during the COVID-19 pandemic that has been set by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force; comply with the instructions for implementing international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic set by the Ministry of Transportation.
ASNs are also asked to comply with the regional policies of the countries to be visited; policies regarding entrances, quarantine places, mandatory COVID-19 inspections set by the COVID-19 Task Force; and strict health protocols.

"The implementation of foreign official travel activities is carried out selectively and prioritizes essential activities that cannot be represented, and pays attention to the policies of the Ministry of State Secretariat", the circular said.
Furthermore, this circular letter will take effect from today or the date of stipulation. "With the enactment of this circular, the Circular of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 03 of 2022 concerning Restrictions on Traveling Abroad Activities during the 2019 Corona Virus Disease Pandemic is revoked and declared invalid", the letter concluded.
