Coming To Mandalika, Police Headquarters Checks Circuit Ahead Of MotoGP
JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) Polri Inspector General Pol Firman Shantyabudi checks the readiness of the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, ahead of the MotoGP event on March 18-20 2022.
"Let's make this event a success. Once again, let's be good hosts, let's be part of the development process," said Firman in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday, March 17.
Firman said the police had prepared anticipatory security under the command of the NTB Police Chief Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto. He said his presence was in the context of assisting and ensuring that preparations went smoothly.
"Anticipation has been made in such a way, but once again what is called readiness must be checked again, evaluated again, completed again, and so on. Until it is confirmed that it will really work optimally when needed," he explained.
Firman hopes that this MotoGP event can run smoothly so that the economy of the people of West Nusa Tenggara can be lifted.
"The government hopes that holding these events here (NTB) will improve the welfare of the community as a whole, especially in NTB," said Firman.
On that occasion, he handed over 3 units of Mazda Sky Active and 2 units of Yamaha PJR to the NTB Police. In addition, Firman had time to check the location of the Gate 2 parking construction and the Red Spot point to the Mandalika area.
Previously, the Head of Traffic Police, Firman, released the Mandalika Operations Control Unit (BKO) personnel. A total of 40 two-wheeled vehicles and 25 four-wheeled vehicles were released.
"This is to strengthen the ranks to ensure traffic flow in NTB, before, during, and post-MotoGP so that it can run well. This means that we serve everything to the maximum," said Firman.
