Agung Don't Know KPI's Instagram Account Profile Photo Changed, Hacked?

JAKARTA – Hackers are back in the country again. This time the alleged target is the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI). This can be seen from the profile picture of the KPI @KPIPusat Instagram account, which is usually the KPI logo, suddenly on Friday, September 3 at around 12.00 it was replaced by another party.

When the VOI team contacted Agung Suprio, Head of the Central KPI, he stated that he did not know anything about this. He only explained that he would try to check whether it was really hacked because so far the profile picture in the account was the KPI logo.

"I don't know about the profile picture being changed or hacked. I'll try to ask the officer first", said Agung. "Thanks for the information".

Not long after, after the VOI team contacted Agung, at 13.00 WIB, the Central KPI IG account finally returned to normal, with the KPI logo. However, when the VOI team tried to contact Agung again, his cell phone was switched off.

The hack of the Central KPI Instagram account has also appeared on the @areajulid Twitter account. In his post, Friday, September 3 at 12:31 a.m., the Twitter account that often throws up current issues questioned the KPI Instagram account that had been replaced by someone.

It is not known exactly what the motive of the hacker who changed the profile picture of the Central KPI Instagram account was. This possibility has something to do with the case that occurred at the commission.

This week there was a big issue at KPI where there were allegations of sexual harassment by 7 employees. Agung when confirmed about it was reluctant to comment further.

"There will be a press conference at 2 o'clock. Just wait", said Agung, who had scheduled an examination of 7 people suspected of carrying out sexual laws.
