Samsung Redesign Good Lock With One UI 7 And Global Release On Google Play Store

JAKARTA Samsung announced a major update on the Good Lock app following the launch of One UI 7, including a global release via the Google Play Store. This update provides access to more users in various countries, making this feature more accessible without being limited to the Galaxy Store as before.

Good Lock, which has been available for several years, allows Galaxy users to carry out deep customization on their devices without the need for root or other complex modifications. With this app, users can change the launch view, run the app on the Galaxy Z Flip cover screen, to overcome Android interface limitations on Samsung phones.

Global Update on One UI 7 Samsung confirmed this news through their official forum, stating that starting One UI 7, Good Lock can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store, and is available across the country.

"Starting from One UI 7.0, Good Lock can be downloaded from the Play Store and Galaxy Store, and can be used in all countries," Samsung representatives said in an official statement.

This step answers the request of many users who want wider access to this feature.

The design for Ease of Use In addition to global releases, Good Lock also gets an interface update. Samsung explained that the main Good Lock application will have a new composition to improve usage convenience. Additional features such as the specific Good Lock application filter and the My Page tab will make it easier to manage applications in Good Lock.

Samsung also ensures that some Good Lock modules that are not yet compatible with One UI 7 will be updated soon.

One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, is currently in the beta stage for the Galaxy S24 series and is scheduled to officially launch in the Galaxy S25 series at the end of January.

With this update, Samsung further strengthens its position as one of the mobile phone manufacturers that offers the best customization experience for users. Good Lock, which is now more accessible around the world, will further pamper Galaxy users in adjusting the device to their needs.
