JAKARTA Google Docs gets a new feature to facilitate document management, both individually and in collaboration. This feature appears in the form of a Document tab on Monday, October 7 last.

Google says that this feature is released to set up very long documents, such as dozens or hundreds of pages. This new tab will help users in quickly compiling, creating, and changing content in Docs.

The Document tab feature will direct the user to a specific section when tapped according to the set page. For example, the user signifies the Project Summary tab to the first page containing project preparation.

In addition to adding tabs, users can also add sub-tabs to more detailed sections, such as project timelines, project financial reports, and so on. In tabs and sub-tabs, users can use various emojis to represent the content of the content.

This feature is being launched in stages for Workspace subscribers and personal Google account users. The Documents tab started rolling out on October 7th, but for fast releases. The company just launched a scheduled release on October 21.
