Motorola Prepares Cheaper Version Razr

JAKARTA - It seems that Razr's party is not over yet. The reason is, Motorola is preparing to launch Razr 50 in India on September 9, the latest leak shows that the "lite" version of this foldable phone may be under development.

The MySmartPrice site found the whereabouts of the Motorola Razr 50s on the HDR10+ certification site, which confirmed the phone's name and, more importantly, the screen technology.

The letter "s" in the name Razr 50s can be the first clue. Usually, Motorola uses this naming for a more affordable variant in its product lineup. Although details are still limited, the presence of this HDR10+ certification indicates that Motorola may respond to growing demand for folding phones at a more friendly price in pockets.

Currently, Razr 50s is still a mystery. There is no specific information about the processor, camera configuration, or even the main folding screen size of this phone.

However, given that Razr 50, which is a flagship, is equipped with a 3.6-inch external screen with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a 50MP main camera, it is possible that Razr 50s will borrow some of these features in a slightly simpler version.

This phone is likely to appear in other certifications such as Geekbench, which may reveal more details.

Motorola Razr 50 Specifications

The Motorola Razr 50 has a 6.9-inch FHD + internal POLED folding screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an external POLED FHD + screen measuring 3.6 inches which reaches a peak brightness of up to 1700 nits with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and 4200mAh batteries with support for fast charging of 30W wireless wires and 15W wireless. Double screen settings support HDR10+, 10-bit color technology, LTPO, and peak brightness up to 3000 nits on the main screen.

The rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera with an OIS as well as an 13MP ultra-wide/macro camera. The front camera uses a 32MP sensor capable of recording UHD 4K video. For audio, this phone is equipped with dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Spatial Sound, and three microphones.
