Tencent Cloud Introduces Latest AI And Cloud Innovations To Accelerate Digital Transformation

JAKARTA Tencent Cloud introduced the latest various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit. The event will be held in Shenzhen, China starting Thursday, September 5.

Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent as well as CEO of Cloud and Smart Industries Group (CSIG), said that this latest solution was launched to help companies accelerate digital transformation efforts in their business.

"Currently, many companies are looking for ways to innovate in their business models. By utilizing digitization to increase efficiency, follow the latest trends, and expand global reach, they can achieve higher growth and innovation rates," Tong said in a statement received by VOI.

Tencent launched AI Infra, a series of computational, storage and network solutions to facilitate the development and training of large models. In addition, there is also Tencent Hunyuan Turbo, an architectural-based model of Mixture of Experts (MoE) capable of reducing the cost of inference by 50 percent.

Not only AI Infra and Tencent Hunyuan Turbo, the company also launched Palm Verification technology in the international market. This technology was created to expand the application of safe and AI-based identity authentication.

Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud International Poshu Yeung said that this new solution has been tested globally and has been used in several companies. Telkomsel is one of the companies adopting this technology to support payment systems to security access management in apps.

"Our Palm Verification Ecosystem plan packs this technology in the form of a versatile kit, allowing global partners to quickly adopt and integrate this world-class technology for market implementation," Yeung explained.

There are still many AI-based products introduced at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, such as Knowledge Engine Platform, Digital Human, e-KYC, and others. All of these products are also available for the international market.
