Collaborating With NVIDIA, Hitachi Vantara Launches Hitachi IQ For AI Utilization

JAKARTA Hitachi Vantara, a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., launched a special infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence (AI) called Hitachi iQ. In addition to infrastructure, this innovation also includes AI services and solutions. Hitachi iQ is a collaborative innovation with NVIDIA that was built to develop new solutions to AI use. This infrastructure has pioneered the NVIDIA DGX BasePOD certification so that it ensures its reliability in operating the AI application. Sony Chahyadi, Head of the Enterprise Solusi Consultant Hitachi Vantara Indonesia, said that it deliberately cooperates with NVIDIA. The reason is, this company is one of the top Processing GPU providers that supports AI. "For now, which can deliver ready-for-AI platforms and has been widely used by large companies in the worldwide we see NVIDIA. (the company) has its technology and they have capacity," Sony said at the Media Conference on Wednesday, August 21. Enterprise Hitachi Sales Director Hitara Ming Sunadi added that NVIDIA is the pioneer of the GPU Processing for AI. Therefore, Hitachi Vantara decided to cooperate with such multinational technology companies. "NVIDIA was the first to create a GPU processing, while before Covid, Intel was still focused on CPU Processing. In addition to launching Hitachi iQ, the data storage and cloud solution provider also launched the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform One. This new product is a cloud-based hybrid platform that can help companies manage and leverage their data. Sony explains that this platform can unify data and offers a variety of flexibility that focuses on robustness. The capacity of this platform is claimed to be effective in all solutions, including large-scale companies. There are many features presented on this hybrid cloud platform, including One Data Plane, Simple Consumption, Cloud Observability, and Accelerated File Storage. With all the features presented, Virtual Storage Platform One becomes simpler, faster, and safer.
