JAKARTA Telegram updated several features in its application on 31 July. Some of the updates Telegram launched are improvements in browsers and additions to application-specific tabs. Open in-app browser pages now have more control. When clicking on any website on Telegram, open pages can be minimized and reopened from the blades at the bottom so that users can switch to chat rooms easily. Browser on Telegram also supports a decentralized website hosted on The Open Network (TON), a Telegram crypto asset project, and can be opened on desktop or mobile apps. "This makes Web3 immediately available to nearly a billion users." Another feature added to the browser is the ability to store the web. When Telegram users want to leave the app or want to open incoming messages, they can add their web to the bookmark.

"When you receive notifications when reading articles, viewing web pages, or playing games, you can check your messages and come back without losing your progress. You can also add a marker to return," explains Telegram. In addition, Telegram also adds a new capability for users to more easily access mini apps. When opening a search page, users will see an App tab consisting of two parts. Users will see a list of the applications they use and a list of popular mini apps as recommendations. With this change, Telegram wants to show more games and fast services that may be of interest to its users.
