Google Will Launch 3 New Information-filled Weather Widgets

Google is preparing to launch three new information-packed weather widgets for Google apps on Android devices. These gadgets are designed to provide more weather data at a glance and are expected to improve user experience that requires comprehensive weather information.

In the latest beta version of the Google app (15.28.37.29), a code was found that reveals the existence of several new weather widgets. These gadgets offer a wide range of sizes and information to meet the needs of different users.

The largest gadget is 4x3 in size, with a round angle. This gadget displays weather information per hour, current temperature, location, highest and lowest temperatures, as well as weather forecasts for the next three days. This provides a complete picture of the weather, allowing users to better plan their activities.

The second gadget measuring 4x2, provides an hourly view of the weather for the day under current and other temperature information. This gadget is slightly smaller but still offers quite complete information for users who need regular weather updates.

The third option is a simple vertical box with a rounding angle that displays location, current temperature, and some other weather information. This gadget is the most minimalist option among the three new widgets and is suitable for users who prefer simpler views and don't need a lot of details.

The development of these widgets is still in its early stages, so changes are likely to occur before it is officially released. Currently, the Google app offers a minimalist weather widget that only displays the current temperature and weather icons. The current gadget has a diagonal design with a round angle and may not match the user's home screen display symmetry.

Google restarted its in-app weather experience a year ago, in May. UI changes began rolling out to Pixel devices in September, providing a more structured display. Previously, the app's weather section had a display of three tabs. Now, users will find a "Now" section full of important information for the day, followed by weather forecasts in the next 10 days.

With these new widgets, Google hopes to provide users with more options to customize the weather display on their home screen as needed. This step demonstrates Google's commitment to continuously improving the user experience and providing more useful information through their apps.
