JAKARTA In early May, Google Messages updated the voice recorder device in the chat room. In the latest version, the redesign of the voice recorder gets a new feature to reduce noise. Although this new capability has already been launched, not all users can use its features because its availability is still limited. Once rolling out gradually, this feature is finally widely available across the country. According to a 9to5google report, this noise damping feature is widely available after the company launched a Google Message update version beta 20240523_04_RC00. This feature is even working stably. When opening the chat room and pressing the voice record icon, the recording window will appear at the bottom of the screen. Users can see a small button to enable or disable the noise recorder feature. If the feature is enabled, users will see the ON label with a running sound record sign. However, if the user disables the feature, the OFF label will appear with the crossed voice recorder icon.

The launch of the noise damping feature in the sound recorder tool is a very interesting innovation. The reason is, by using this feature, the sound recorded by the user will be free from surrounding noise disturbances. In addition, this feature will also improve sound quality. Google also says that this feature is capable, "enhancing the audio quality of voice messages overall by increasing bit rates and sampling rates".
