Analyst: Apple Accelerates IPhone Folding

JAKARTA Since last February, it has been revealed that Apple is developing its first foldable device. Reportedly, Apple is not only creating regular foldable devices, but also a new foldable generation iPhone. Citing from 9to5mac, analyst Haitong International Securities Jeff Pu said that Apple is accelerating production from their foldable devices. The company will start production of foldable devices measuring 20.3 inches by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, the foldable iPhone is rumored to be mass-produced by the end of 2026. It is not yet known for sure whether this foldable iPhone will be launched at the same time as other vertically shaped iPhone ranks. Although there is not much information and specification from the foldable device for Apple to launch, Pu has already shared the target market and screen size of the device. The analyst said that Apple's foldable device will be an ultra-high end device. That is, this foldable device will become the device with the best specifications and the price could be much more expensive than the usual series device. Meanwhile, Apple's folding iPhone will reportedly use two types of screen sizes, namely 7.9 inches and 8.3 inches.

Other news says that a foldable device measuring 20.3 inches will be referred to as a folding MacBook. This information was conveyed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo some time ago. He had said that the folding MacBook would be released around 2027. If the report from Pu is true, Apple may indeed be accelerating the manufacture of folding devices so that production can be made before 2027. However, all this information cannot be trusted 100 percent until Apple releases an official statement.
