Tokocrypto User Trading Activities Increase 40 Percent During Ramadan

JAKARTA - Tokocrypto, a crypto asset trading platform in Indonesia, revealed that in the month of Ramadan 2024, its platform has recorded a significant increase in user trading activity.

With consistency in maximizing user trading experience, Tokocrypto recorded growth of around 40 percent during the 2024 Ramadan moment compared to normal day moments.

"This phenomenon shows how important Ramadan celebrations are in the lives of the Indonesian people, not only as a religious moment but also as a significant economic momentum," said Tokocrypto CMO, Wan Iqbal in a statement on Thursday, March 28.

Not only that, but Tokocrypto also saw changes in the trading behavior of its customers during Ramadan. Where the trading frequency at dawn between 02.00 WIB and 05.00 WIB increased by 70 percent compared to before Ramadan.

"The increase in trading activities at dawn reflects how users take advantage of their free time in the morning to invest and see more volatile trade movements," Iqbal continued.

During Ramadan this year, the most widely traded crypto assets on Tokocrypto are USDT, Solana (SOL), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and PEPE.

According to the latest data, the number of users registered on Tokocrypto has reached more than 4 million. Over the past three months, Tokocrypto has consistently recorded an increase in transaction value, with an average increase of more than 54.1 percent per month.

"User growth and changing trading behavior in Tokocrypto during Ramadan reflect a global trend that shows an increasing interest in crypto investment," he said further.

In addition, Iqbal also believes that users' adaptation to different trading times shows that the crypto market continues to develop and becomes more inclusive for various segments of society.
