JAKARTA - HP Inc. is exploring new business opportunities by opening an All-In Plan cellphone service. This service provides solutions for people who want to have a printer without the need to buy.

The All-In Plan cellphone was launched on Sunday, March 3. This service is a package developed from the Instant Ink HP so that customers will get automatic ink shipments before the ink runs out.

The printer that was rented has special technology to detect the amount of ink. When the cellphone detects that the ink used by the user is running out, they will send the latest cartridge or ink storage area.

The All-In Plan cellphone is a two-year rental package and users have to pay 6.99 US dollars (Rp109) per month. This price is set for a print of 20 pages. If the number of pages increases, the subscription price will increase.

If customers spend 10 to 15 extra pages, they have to pay 1 US dollar (IDR 15,700). Meanwhile, the OfficeJetPro package for 700 pages will be opened at a price of 35.99 US dollars (IDR 565 thousand).

In addition to getting ink support, users are also entitled to a new printer if their device is damaged. Users only need to report the damage and the replacement printer will be taken the next day.

After more than two years of usage, users can update their printer. Users only need to select a new printer model and return the old printer. During the return process, the subscription package will keep running.

This printer rental service also supports environmental sustainability efforts. Users can return the expired cartridges and send them back to their cellphones. This return will not be charged any fees.
