JAKARTA - Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the State of Play will resume on January 31, with a live broadcast lasting approximately 40 minutes.

"Hi everyone, 2024 has just started and it's time for our first State of Play. The broadcast will last more than 40 minutes, and feature guest performances from some of the most talented thinkers in gaming," wrote PlayStation Studios Head Hermen Hulst in an announcement on the Playstation blog.

While not much has been revealed what will appear in this live broadcast, Sony said there will be new details for more than 15 games to come, including Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin.

In addition, you will also hear announcements regarding the new games that will be released this year, including about new titles for PS5 and PS VR2 which are scheduled to be launched in 2024 and beyond.

"Among the many other updates, we will feature an expanded look at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, two great games that have come to PS5 this year. And we will give you a new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond," the announcement concluded.

However, based on the latest leaks released from GamingBolt, Death Stranding 2 will also be exhibited during the State of Play live broadcast, with Sony allegedly set to reveal the full title of the game as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
