JAKARTA - ChatGPT maker OpenAI has postponed the launch of a custom GPT store until early 2024. This is known to be an internal memo seen by Reuters on Friday, December 1.

During its first developer conference in November, OpenAI introduced a custom GPT and shop, which will launch late that month.

According to the memo, OpenAI continues to "improve" at GPT based on customer feedback.

This delay occurred amid the sacking of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, surprisingly by the startup and subsequent re-appointment after the threat of resignation by employees.

GPT is the initial version of the AI assistant who performs real-world tasks such as ordering flights on behalf of users. It is also expected to allow users to share their GPT and make money based on the number of users.
