JAKARTA - Amazon says that the science of data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) has brought great progress in the efficiency of digital advertising over the past two decades.
Based on a company survey in March, Amazon found that nearly 75 percent of advertisers said making ad material and choosing ad material formats was their biggest challenge.
"Producing attractive and different ad material can increase costs and often require additional expertise in the advertising process," said Zeleneksul, senior vice president of Amazon Ads Products and Technology in his blog.
To achieve this goal, Amazon Ads has launched a new generative AI solution for image creation in beta, and helped advertisers improve their advertising performance.
For example, when advertisers have their own product image with a white background, Amazon's generative AI solution will allow advertisers to put their products with different image backgrounds, such as home kitchens, offices, and so on.
"Providing tools to make image creation simple and easy is another way for us to support advertisers and at the same time create ads that our customers see that are more attractive and visually rich."

In Amazon Advertising Consoles, advertisers simply select their products and click on Generate. Images can then be refined by inserting short text commands, while multiple versions can be created and tested quickly to optimize performance.
Amazon Ads has started rolling out image creation with AI support for select advertisers and will expand availability over time.
