Getting Along With Competitors, Google Chat Can Now Connect To Slack And Microsoft Teams

JAKARTA - Recently, Google presented many new features on its Workspace platform, which is partly centered on the integration of the AI Duet, one of which is Google Chat.

The company added capabilities that enable interoperability of messaging between Google Chat and other services, including Slack and Microsoft Teams.

To make it work optimally, Google cooperates with a company called Mio, which is expected to be useful for businesses that use various applications to communicate with each other.

Mio is a leading provider of collaborative interoperability solutions that help customers increase their productivity by simplifying communication across multiple channels.

Users can take advantage of Mio to create a smooth experience between Google Chat and the various tools needed to complete the work.

Therefore, business requires Mio's license to use this feature. According to the GIF shared by Google, if the user edits a message in one of the connected applications, the change will be replicated in another application.

Currently, the feature is still available in beta in several Workspace packages, with its stable version launching in early 2024.
