40C Heat Hits England, Google Cloud Goes Out, Even Train Tracks Are Curved

JAKARTA – This summer has created a heat wave that has hit a number of countries. Some areas in both the United States and the United Kingdom experienced more heat than usual.

This condition makes people, in offices or housing, forced to turn on the air conditioner or air conditioner. This causes a spike in the demand for electrical power in a number of areas.

This surge in electricity forced a number of technological facilities to succumb, because more electricity was needed for housing.

Google Cloud's data center in London was forced to face a power outage on Tuesday, July 19, as revealed on Alphabet Inc's unit status page. This is also due to temperatures in the UK soaring to record highs, in recent years.

Google Cloud said it was a "cooling-related" failure in one of the buildings and started at 13:13 ET (6:13 p.m. BST).

A "small group" of customers was affected, according to an update on the status page. Part of this problem still persists.

Reuters reported that Britain recorded its hottest day on Tuesday, with temperatures exceeding 40C as the heatwave gripping Europe intensified. It also forced the train tracks to bend and ignited a series of fires across London.
