JAKARTA - Snapchat is now bringing reviews and making it easier for users to find nearby restaurants on its app, thanks to its partnership with restaurant review site The Infatuation.
Users can open the Snap Map to find a new Map Layer from The Infatuation, which will display recommendations for their nearest restaurant.
After finding an interesting restaurant, users can share it with friends via chat or add it to favorites to save and visit later.
As part of the new partnership, users will now also automatically see The Infatuation reviews on Place Profiles in more than 50 cities worldwide.
Snapchat says more than 250 million users turn to Snap Map every month to see what their friends are up to.
The social media with the yellow logo launched Layer in Snap Map last year to create a new way for users to find things to do with their friends.
The Layers feature allows users to add data from some of Snap's selected development partners directly to their maps so they can see the world in a specific view.
