Indonesian National Team Striker Focuses On The Last Match Of The 2023 Asian Cup Group Against Japan

Hokky Caraka is optimistic that the Indonesian national team can balance Japan (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will play the last match of Group D of the 2023 Asian Cup against Japan at the Thumama Stadium on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

All Garuda squad players focused on looking at the party alive in order to win the ticket to the last 16.

Hokky Caraka is no exception. The striker is currently focusing on preparing himself for the Japan strong team.

He is full of confidence that the Indonesian national team can balance the Blue Samurai in order to make history for the first time qualifying for the knockout stages of the Asian Cup.

"Alhamdulillah, we won against Vietnam. However, we must immediately focus on the next match against Japan. We admit that Japan is a strong team, but we are also optimistic that we will be able to keep up with them, especially since they have seen their game," said Hokky Caraka.

Furthermore, Hokky hopes that supporters will continue to provide direct support to the Garuda Squad in the match later.

"Keep supporting us even though whatever the results will be later. Hopefully, we can advance to the next round. Whether anyone is sent down, play anywhere, the results are like anything, please support them," said Hokky.

The Indonesian national team is now in third place in Group D with a collection of three points. The collection is the same as Japan, only losing the goal difference.
