British Parliament Urges FA To Ban Transgender Players From Participating In Female Football

The women's team in England has the opportunity to be strengthened by transgender players and have opposition from the British Parliament (X/@ManCity).

JAKARTA - The British Parliament urges the English Football Federation (FA) to prohibit transgender players from participating in women's football.

Parliament feels the need to give an early warning because transgender players can be an issue of prolonged debate.

English football has been infiltrated by LGBT +. The use of the captain's armband with rainbow colors in the Premier League match shows that English football is open to the issue of LGBT+.

In fact, the FA does not mind the England national team captain wearing rainbow tires that are synonymous with the LGBT + issue.

No wonder, the captain's armband wrapped around Hary Kane's arm is no longer the symbol of the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup.

However, FIFA stated firmly that it was forbidden to wear the rainbow captain's armband so that Kane finally continued to use the Three Lions symbol.

When the captain of the football team has worn tires like that and the corner of the field wears a rainbow flag, it doesn't take long for women's soccer clubs to use transgender players.

This situation came to the attention of the Parliament. Member of Parliament (MP) Penistone and Stocksbridge led byrinya Cates from the Conservative Party sent a letter to the FA to convey a request that transgender players be prohibited from playing in the women's team.

According to media in the UK, the letter was also signed by 47 other members and 27 members of the House of Lords.

Parliament sent a letter because the FA seemed to be 'turning a blind eye' to the issue. The federation handed the matter over to 'individuals and managers at the club'.

In fact, the FA has the authority to issue a ban on transgender players. "We urge the FA to take action to protect female players by prohibiting players born as men from playing in women's soccer teams," reads a letter from Parliament.

Ironically, the FA has gone further regarding transgender issues. The Federation apparently allows players for categories above the U-16 to freely choose to participate in the team according to the gender they want.
