Indonesian Representatives At The 2022 World Badminton Championships Increase, Febriana/Amalia Also Receive Invitations

JAKARTA - Ahead of the 2022 Badminton World Championships in Tokyo on August 22-28, Indonesia received good news. Because the representatives who will appear in the event are increasing.

One additional ticket was obtained by the women's doubles, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi. This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations and Media of the Indonesian Badminton Association Committee (PP PBSI), Broto Happy.

"We received good news from BWF, namely that Indonesia has received one additional representative at the 2022 World Championship on behalf of Febriana/Amalia from the women's doubles," said Broto Happy on the official website.

The PBSI hopes that with the addition of representatives, it can be an additional strength for Indonesia, especially in the women's doubles sector.

"Of course, we confirm the participation of Ana / Tiwi. This is an additional weapon in the women's doubles sector after Ribka Sugiarto / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Nita Violina Marwah / Putri Syaikah," he added.

Previously, Indonesia had received additional representatives through Putri Kusuma Wardani in the women's singles. However, the athlete could not prepare himself optimally because he was undergoing a Women's Police education.

PBSI continues to communicate with the police so that the athlete born in Tangerang, July 20, 2002, can appear in the 2022 World Championships.

"We continue to communicate with related parties so that Women can be involved in the 2022 World Championship. In fact, this tournament will be very important for Women's experience in the future," said Broto.
