GIIAS 2024 Successfully Held, So Capital Good For Next Edition

TANGERANG - The 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) officially entered the last day. This exhibition was successfully held for eleven days

Chairman of the GIIAS 2024 Organizers Rizwan Alamsjah, said that this performance achieved high enthusiasm amidst the uncertainty of conditions from the automotive industry both in the country and globally.

"Since the first day, enthusiasm has increased every day to increase the number of visitors compared to the previous year. Although it has not been collected in its entirety, the results of the achievements at GIIAS are very good." Alamsjah said in a closing ceremony session at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Saturday, July 27.

He also hopes that this year's performance will become capital so that the next edition will produce a more memorable event for national automotive industry.

"Gaikindo hopes that this year's organization will give the best impression and then be bigger and better than now," added Alamsjah.

GIIAS 2024 has successfully presented a total of 55 motorized vehicle brands from various countries such as Japan, Korea, China and European countries, including 31 passenger vehicle brands, namely; Audi, Baic, BMW, BYD, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, GAC Aion, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaecool, Jetour, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi Motors, Neta, Nissan, Porsche, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen, Volvo, Wuling. 4 brands from commercial vehicles attended Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, UD Trucks.

In addition, there are 20 brands of two-wheeled vehicles; Alva, Aprilia, Astra Honda Motor, Exotic, Gelis, Harley-Davidson, Ion Mobility, Italjet, Kupprum, Motoguzzi, Pacific, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, Scomadi, Vespa, Vmove, Volta and ZPT.

In addition to passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and two-wheeled vehicles, the three Karoseri brands also enlivened the GIIAS 2024 performance, namely Adiputro, Laksana, and Tentrem. More than 120 participating brands from the supporting industry also do not want to lose to show off their latest innovations and technology in the implementation of GIIAS 2024.
