First In The Commercial Vehicle Sector, Isuzu Achieves INDI 4.0 Series From The Ministry Of Industry

JAKARTA - PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) as a distributor and agent of Isuzu vehicle holder (APM) in Indonesia, continues to support government programs that are in line with the automotive industry.

One of them is Making Indonesia 4.0 which is the government's strategy to advance all industrial business ecosystems in Indonesia and become the Top 10 of the Global Economy in 2030.

In the program, industry players are asked to increase productivity by transforming digitalization in all business lines, including the automotive line.

On this occasion, Isuzu successfully won the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI 4.0) certificate from the Ministry of Industry in June 2024.

This certificate (INDI 4.0) is a reference standard to measure the company's level of readiness to transform into the industrial era 4.0. There are five pillars of assessing the relationship between the company and industry 4.0, namely Management and organization, People and Culture, Products and Services, Technology, and Factory Operations.

The achievement of Isuzu was supported by the Self Assessment of INDI 4.0 in September 2023, by going through various processes such as obtaining assistance and direction from the Ministry of Industry in October 2023, field verification and documents related to the Implementation of Digitalization both in manufacturing and distributors in November 2023.

President Director of PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) Yusak Kristian said that this achievement is also proof that the company's vision to become a World Class Manufacturing is starting to be achieved, as well as being able to improve the company's performance so that it can be even better in the future.

"We hope that success like this will not stop here, but Isuzu must also continue to transform 4.0 in all lines to achieve Operation Excellence and Act with Customer," said Yusak in his official statement, Wednesday, July 3.

There are several benefits of Isuzu after receiving certification from this government, as recognized as a company that participates in the making 4.0' program from the Ministry of Industry and becomes 1 of 60 companies in Indonesia that have an IDI score of 4.0 > 3.0.

Bahkan Isuzu menjadi pertama di Indonesia yang memiliki Certificate IDI 4.0 sektor Commercial Vehicle (CV).
