JAKARTA - MG Indonesian motorcycles officially present two models of Indonesian-made electric vehicles, namely ZS EV and MG4 EV and interestingly both will be exported to various countries.

This was revealed by Arief Syarifudin as Marketing & PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia. He said MG has a very wide market where it is in 84 countries, and is closest to Asia and Australia.

"So, we will export domestically produced vehicles according to government to several countries," he said, when met in Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10.

He further said that he would first send MG ZS EV to the Australian market this year. Of course, it is an interesting thing because local assemblies will be global.

"Yes, priority is MG ZS EV in Q4 2024," he added.

Meanwhile, he said that MG4 EVs are still focused on local markets, so exports will only start next year or rather in 2025.

"Besides Australia, we also have several other countries (exports) such as Vietnam and the Philippines.

As additional information, the MG factory in Cikarang was built by SAIC Motor International as the parent company, and is planned to be able to assemble 100 thousand units per year.
