5 NewJeans Members Create New Instagram Accounts, This Is The Agency's Response

JAKARTA - Five NewJeans members created a new Instagram account after announcing the termination of an exclusive contract with their agency, ADOR. They created an account called @jeanzforfree without naming NewJeans.

Danielle, Hanni, Minji, Haerin, and Hyein share their daily lives through the account. They use the account such as using Phoning, an application created by ADOR with Min Hee Jin to interact with fans.

The five members shared photos, stories through posts and Instagram Stories. Wednesday, December 18, NewJeans shared the latest photo shoot with Vogue Korea magazine with the creative director and former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin.

Through the @jeanzforfree account, they do not use the name NewJeans in the post caption section. Each upload is only marked by the names of the members.

Recently, the brand Omega also did not use the name NewJeans and only used the name Danielle when announcing their new ambassador.

ADOR made a statement regarding NewJeans creating a new social media account. They do not explain the current contracts and relationships.

"NewJeans created a special account to communicate with fans like the official account," ADOR said.

"ADOR hopes that NewJeans members will continue to interact with fans through official channels like they did," he said.

Until now, ADOR continues to share NewJeans schedules and activities on official accounts even though their actions have drawn criticism from the public.
