A Declaration Of Puan's Volunteer In Central Java Emphasize That Ganjar Is Not PDIP's Choice

JAKARTA - Volunteers declared DPR Speaker Puan Maharani as a 2024 presidential candidate in Semarang, Central Java. The declaration is related to the competition between Puan and Ganjar Pranowo because it was carried out in the enclosure of the Governor of Central Java.

Political communication observer from Esa Unggul University, Jamiluddin Ritonga, assessed that Puan's volunteer declaration indicated that Ganjar was not the only one supported by Semarang residents in the 2024 presidential election, Puan also got a place for some residents of Semarang.

"The fight between Puan and Ganjar volunteers will even strengthen to dominate Central Java. Puan seems to want to say that she is strong on the mainland of Central Java, not like Ganjar who is only dominant on social media," said Jamiluddin in Jakarta, Monday, November 1.

According to Jamiluddin, the emergence of Puan volunteers in Semarang is also a hard code that PDIP prefers Puan over Ganjar. This indication, he said, was seen in the absence of oblique comments from the Central Java PDIP DPD and PDIP DPP officials on the declaration of Puan volunteers in Semarang and elsewhere.

"Ganjar should no longer hope that PDIP will carry him in the 2024 presidential election. If you still want to be a presidential candidate, you should look for another party that has the opportunity to carry him," he said.

If Ganjar had never intended to become a presidential candidate, Jamiluddin continued, he should immediately support Puan. Because if this is done by Ganjar, according to him, the accusations that have been skewed so far by some of the PDIP DPP officials will disappear instantly.

"Hopefully Ganjar only has to choose from two options. Do you want to stay in PDIP by supporting Puan as a presidential candidate or resign from PDIP by declaring himself a presidential candidate," said Jamiluddin Ritonga.

It is known that a volunteer who goes by the name Gema Puan declared PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani as a presidential candidate (candidate) 2024 in Semarang, Central Java. Puan is considered a person who deserves to be Ratu Adil.

General Chairperson of Gema Puan, Ridwan, said that Puan's declaration of the 2024 presidential candidate was input for PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri as the figure determining the presidential candidate from the PDIP.

"Echo Puan wants to give Mrs. Mega confidence that you don't have to be afraid of being bullied because of your electability," said Ridwan after the declaration at the Noorman Hotel, Semarang, Sunday, October 31.
