BMW XM More Exclusive And Powered, Debut In Le Mans 2025!

JAKARTA - BMW M GmbH has just announced a significant update to their high-performance SUV line, BMW XM. As a division M mainstay product, the XM model is designed for very high-performance with enormous power, especially in the top variants such as the XM Label.

Now, BMW is reducing the number of variants in XM for the European market, namely by only providing XM Label and XM 50e. The announcement, which was released on June 12, 2025, also revealed that BMW XM's upgraded label will be made at the legendary endurance racing event, 24 Hours of Le Mans, on June 14, 2025. This moment coincides with the participation of BMW M Motorsport with BMW M Hybrid V8 at the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), affirming BMW's commitment to performance and innovation.

BMW XM Label: Peak Strength And Exclusivity

The highest variant, BMW XM Label, is now in the main spotlight. Its M HYBRID system combines a 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with an electric motor and an eight-acceleration Steptronic transmission. The result is a combined system power of 748 hp and 1,000 Nm torque, making it the most powerful BMW M production model ever!

With such a large power, the BMW XM Label is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Its peak speed is limited electronically to 250 km/hour, but with the option of the M Driver's Package, this limit can be increased to 290 km/hour. A fantastic number for a premium SUV!

Design And Features Are Increasingly Luxurious

Launching from the brand's official website, Friday, June 13, the XM Label variant is available with a new exterior color customization offer from BMW Individual called "Frozen Tanzanite Blue", providing a unique touch on the character of this model. In addition, this car is also equipped with a large BMW M kidney grip and glossy black accents, adding to the aggressive and modern impression. Then, XM Label also has a "Welcome Light Animation" animation that shows its exclusive impression when the car is turned on.

The large car comes with a 22-inch light rim Double Speech 922 M Bicolour which is now standard, replacing the previous size, which was 21 inches. BMW also provides a black 23-inch 1096 M rim option for a more striking look.

The interior is now available in the choice of a Night Blue Merino layer with an exclusive surface and is equipped with comfortable, high quality cushions, adding luxury and comfort like a private lounge. Other color options are also available such as Black Merino leather with interior surface Vintage Coffee Brown, and Silverstone Merino leather with interior Black surface.

Electrification And Availability Innovation

Since this car is a Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), BMW gives it a battery so it can run with pure power as far as 76 km for XM Label and 86 km for the XM 50e type. Interestingly, the AC charging speed for the M HYBRID system on the BMW XM Label has been upgraded to 11 kW, allowing for more efficient and fast charging.

With all these updates, BMW XM confirmed its position as a new benchmark in the performance-oriented luxury SUV segment. Its presence at Le Mans tomorrow is a clear proof of BMW's commitment to continue presenting "The Ultimate Driving Machine" for automotive enthusiasts around the world, including in Indonesia.

BMW began marketing these two models in the German market for an initial price of 133,800 euros (approximately IDR 2.5 billion) for XM 50e and XM Label for 183,400 euros (approximately IDR 3,446 billion).
