JAKARTA - A 13-year-old girl has been repeatedly sexually abused. The act was carried out by the perpetrator in a house in the Kembangan District, West Jakarta since July 2021.

The Head of the Kembangan Police, Commissioner Khoiri, confirmed the incident. His party has also received a report from the victim's parents at the Kembangan Police Headquarters.

"The team immediately investigated cases of immoral acts of minors. We have received reports from the victim's parents for alleged molestation," he said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, October 21.

Separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police, Commissioner Adjutant Ferdo Alvianto, added that the victim and her parents had recently lived in Jakarta. The victim's parents just found out that their child was a victim of abuse.

"We are trying to catch and reveal this case. We will follow up the report of the victim's parents," said Kanit.

Even so, he did not know the beginning of the incident. However, the identity of the perpetrator is known, the perpetrator is around 32 years old. Currently the case is still under investigation.

"We have obtained the characteristics of the perpetrators. We will act in accordance with applicable laws," he said.
