KPK Completes Corruption Investigation Of Munjul Land Procurement, Trial Will Be Held At Jakarta Corruption Court

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have completed the files belonging to three suspects and one corporate suspect in the alleged corruption in land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.

The suspects are the Director of PT Adonara Propertindo, Tommy Adrian and his deputy director, Anja Runtuwene; Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM), Rudy Hartono Iskandar; and one corporate suspect, namely PT Adonara Propertindo.

"In Phase II, the suspect and evidence were handed over from the investigative team to the prosecutor team for the suspect AR et al and the suspect PT AP as a corporation, where the completeness of the files has been checked by the prosecutor's team and declared complete," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, October 8.

Furthermore, the detention of the suspects for the next 20 days in detention houses (respective detention centers) starting from October 7 to October 26. Anja Runtuwene and Tommy Adrian are both detained at the KPK Detention Center at the Red and White Building, while Rudi Hartono is being held at the KPK Detention Center in Lot C1.

Ali said the prosecutor's team had 14 working days to compile the indictment against the four suspects and submit them to the Corruption Court (Tipikor).

"The trial is scheduled at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court," he said.

In this alleged corruption case, the KPK has named four suspects, namely the Director and Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo namely Tommy Adrian and Anja Runtuwene, former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles, and Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM) Rudy Hartono Iskandar.

In addition, the KPK has also named PT Adonara Propertindo as a suspect in corporate corruption.

This allegation of corruption occurred when Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, which is a Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the property sector, sought land in the Jakarta area to be used as a business unit or land bank. Furthermore, this regionally owned company cooperates with PT Adonara Propertindo which is also engaged in the same field.

As a result of this alleged corruption, the state is estimated to have lost up to IDR 152.5 billion. The suspects allegedly used this money to finance their personal needs.
