72 BPK Recommendations Have Not Been Followed Up By DKI Provincial Government, One Of Them Is The Clarity Of Formula E

JAKARTA - As many as 72 recommendations of the Financial Audit Board (BPK) on financial results reports have not been followed up by the DKI Provincial Government. This was acknowledged by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspector Syaefulloh Hidayat in a meeting with the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Tuesday, September 7.

Syaefulloh admitted that 62 recommendations have been completed and 72 recommendations have not been completed. In total, BPK provided 134 recommendations out of 66 findings on the LHP for the 2020 fiscal year.

"So the position in last August, 62 recommendations have been appropriate and have been accepted by BPK, and also 72 recommendations are still in the process of completion", said Syaefuloh.

One of the findings of the BPK whose recommendations have not been finalized is the certainty of holding the Formula E racing event in 2022.

There were three recommendations submitted, including the preparation of the involvement of the parties in Formula E activities, clarifying the continuation of Formula E activities to identify constraints that may arise from the financial, economic, and repatriation aspects, and evaluating a feasibility study by taking into account the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“So, if you look at the three recommendations, firstly, there is absolutely no loss in the implementation of formula E, and there is no recommendation to stop and continue. But the BPK has preventively notified the provincial government to review it because of the pandemic", said Syaefulloh.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Abdurrahman Suhaimi, urged the DKI Provincial Government to continue to follow up on all notes and recommendations based on the results of the BPK audit, which is also the subject of discussion of commissions and factions in the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives.

As is the case, the issue of the feasibility study and the details of the third unit of the implementation of the 2022 Formula E activities in Jakarta, as conveyed by the PSI Faction.

"Please note that after the plenary ratification of the Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2020 APBD is held, so that the executive prepares further details that will be used for Formula E activities, which God willing will be held in 2022", said Suhaimi.
