Minister Ida Fauziyah Brings Good News! There Is Assistance For 100 Thousand Business Actors In The PPKM Area Level 3-4

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah, is targeting 100 thousand micro and ultra micro business actors to receive assistance from the Independent Manpower Program to empower entrepreneurs in the midst of a pandemic.

Minister Ida Fauziyah explained that the Mandiri Manpower program assistance was given to community groups who have micro and ultra-micro businesses in areas affected by PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) Level 3 and 4.

"The assistance is by their needs, it doesn't require a large amount of money. This assistance can last during a pandemic", said Ida when assisting Independent Workers in the culinary area of Apron Street Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 26, day this.

Ida admits that the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) certainly has an impact on the income of micro-business actors who rely on daily income from their business.

Therefore, the Independent Manpower Program is expected to help business actors survive during the pandemic.

The Independent Manpower Program is empowerment carried out by the Ministry of Manpower for residents to become new entrepreneurs with business assistance.

In addition to Independent Workers, the Ministry of Manpower also provides wage subsidy assistance (BSU) to employees registered with BPJS Employment in areas affected by PPKM Levels 4 and 3.

"We will distribute subsidy assistance like last year, it is limited to friends who are BPJS (Employment) participants in PPKM Level 3 and 4 areas", said Ida.

Ida hopes that BSU for workers is expected to prevent termination of employment (PHK) during PPKM.

In addition, the burden on companies can be reduced so that employers and workers can continue to conduct social dialogues to find solutions together to deal with the impact of the pandemic.

In BSU 2021, the number of prospective recipients is estimated to reach around eight million people with a budget requirement of IDR 8 trillion and the amount received for each person is IDR 1 million which is channeled through bank transfers.
