COVID-19 Update As Of July 11: 36.197 New Cases, Recovered Cases Increase By 32.615

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 159.219 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 36.197 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 2.527.203 people and 376.015 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Sunday, July 11.

Today's recovered cases increased by 32.615 cases, bringing the total to 2.084.724 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 1.007 people and a total of 66.464 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 13.133 cases and a total of 662.442 cases. Followed by West Java which has 6.704 new cases with a total of 452.007 cases. Central Java has 2.575 new cases and a total of 291.553 cases. Then, East Java has 2.419 new cases and a total of 194.361 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 20.602 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 3.583 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 2.424 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 1.434 recovered cases.

There is one province that reported no new cases today, namely Gorontalo. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 21.756.322.

"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate of 41.46 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 152.151 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.

Furthermore, currently, there are 36.267.019 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 15.011.348 of the second dose of vaccination.
