News Circulating Novel Baswedan And Partners Fired By Firli Bahuri, KPK Checks The Truth

JAKARTA - Pieces of Decree (SK) of KPK leaders related to the results of the assessment of the national insight test (TWK) of KPK employees. The decree states that 75 employees who do not pass the TWK test will be disabled.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regrets the circulation of this news. Acting KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, said that institutionally his party was trying to complete the entire process of transferring employee status.

"We regret the circulation of the pieces of the letter because institutionally, the KPK is currently trying to carefully complete all stages of the transfer of KPK employees to ASN so that they can be on time according to plan," Ali said in his statement, Sunday, May 9.

The decree in circulation contains four points. First, determining the names of employees mentioned in the attachment to this decree does not meet the requirements for the transfer of KPK employees to State Civil Apparatuses. 

Second, order the employees as referred to in the first dictum to hand over their duties and responsibilities to their direct superiors while waiting for further decisions.

Third, determining the attachment to this decision is an inseparable part of this decision. Fourth, this decision is effective from the date of stipulation and if there is an error in this decision, it will be corrected accordingly.

The letter, which was signed by KPK chairman Firli Bahuri, includes a copy submitted to the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), the KPK Supervisory Board, as well as employees who do not pass ASN.

Ali stated that his party would check the validity of the pieces of the letter in circulation. This is because the pieces of the letter in circulation are without a date and official stamp.

"We will check the validity of the letter without a date and official stamp in circulation," he said.

Ali asked the public not to be easily swallowed up by the unknown issues. Ali hopes that the public will get official information from the KPK.

"Once again we remind that the media and the public are guided by the official information issued institutionally by the Corruption Eradication Commission either through spokespersons or through all official communication channels owned by the KPK," said Ali.

It is known, as many as 75 KPK employees failed to pass the TWK assessment. This test is one of the requirements for the status of a KPK employee to become the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

Of the 75 employees, it was reported that one of them was Novel Baswedan. Novel said that he did not pass is known from a number of information.
