News Of Shin Tae-yong Being Fired From The Indonesian National Team Responded To By PSSI: No Decision Yet

Shin Tae-yong is rumored to have been expelled from the Indonesian national team (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi Sasono).

The news of Shin Tae-yong's dismissal from the Indonesian national team has been circulating recently, PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) Member, Vivin Cahyani spoke up.

Previously, the news of Shin Tae-yong's dismissal was widely discussed on social media. This also surfaced because of the upload of another Exco member, Kairul Anwar.

Responding to the heat of this situation, Vivin did not give much answers. He said that until now there has been no decision regarding Shin Tae-yong's future.

"About that (Shin Tae-yong was fired) there has been no official decision from PSSI," said Vivin Cahyani in a statement when contacted on Sunday, January 5.

Furthermore, Vivin only emphasized that the most important thing at this time is that all elements continue to work together to unite to support the best for the Indonesian national team. Especially now that the Garuda Squad will return to play the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification match.

"We (PSSI) clearly have a target to the World Cup, it needs support from all parties for a better transformation from all sides," he said.

The news that Shin Tae-yong was fired from the Indonesian national team for the first time was crowded because of the upload of Exco Member Kairul Anwar on his social media. In his latest upload, he expressed his gratitude to the coach and called it an invitation from a legend.

Because of this thank you, netizens are busy speculating that the South Korean coach will leave the country. Especially in the last tournament, in the 2024 AFF Cup, the Indonesian national team did not get maximum results because they were eliminated in the group phase.
