Leave IHPS I 2024, Head Of BPK-Prabowo Meeting Closed For 2 Hours At The Palace

Chairman of the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Isma Yatun met with President Prabowo Subianto to convey the Summary of Semester Examination Results (IHPS) I 2024 in order to improve state financial governance.

The meeting, which lasted for about 2 hours, took place at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, Thursday, January 2, since 16.00 WIB.

"The report is in accordance with the results of the examination contained in the 2024 Semester Examination Results Summary (IHPS), which was submitted by the Chairman of the BPK to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto," said an excerpt from the BPK Bureau of Public Relations and International Cooperation in Jakarta, Thursday, January 2, quoted by Antara.

In its report, BPK gives an opinion on the 2023 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP), with an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on 79 Ministry/Institutional Financial Reports (LKKL), and one State General Treasurer Financial Report (LKBUN).

In addition, BPK also provides Fair Opinions with Exceptions (WDP) on four LKKLs, namely the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and the National Food Agency.

Regarding the establishment of the Red and White Cabinet, BPK appreciates the Issuance of PMK Number 90 of 2024 concerning Procedures for the Use of Budget and Assets during the Transition Period within Ministries and Institutions as well as the Letter of the Minister of Finance regarding the appointment of the Ministry/Institution for the Implementation of the 2024 FY Budget.

On this occasion, Isma Yatun also conveyed the role of BPK in the international arena as an external examination agency for various international organizations (UN specialized agents, UN related organizations, and UN Panel of External Auditors).

To further improve BPK's performance in the international arena, BPK requested the support of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the nomination of BPK as a member of the United Nation Board of Auditors (UN BOA) for the 2026-2032 period which will be held in March 2025 and will be decided by the General Assembly of the United Nations in November 2025.
