Victims Of Death Of Free Falls Bus Into River In Ethiopia Becomes 71 People

JAKARTA - The death toll from a bus accident fell freely into a river in Ethiopia into 71 people.

Citing AFP, Monday, December 30, the death toll consisted of 68 men and three women based on data as of Sunday, December 29 evening local time.

The Directorate of Traffic Prevention and Control of the Sidama Police Commission explained that the accident occurred yesterday at 17.30.

Two seriously injured victims were immediately rushed to the hospital.

Health agencies in Ethiopia previously released a number of photos of bus accidents breaking through free-falling road barriers into rivers.

The photos, which are not clear, show a number of people looking to get out of the bus that was thrown into the river.

Meanwhile, other passengers seemed to be helping those who were still in the water.

Another photo shows a number of bodies covered in blue tarpaulin lined up on the banks of the river.
