Ahead Of The Christmas And New Year Holidays, Density Begins At Kalideres Terminal

The density of passengers at Kalideres Terminal, West Jakarta (Jakbar) ahead of the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays is predicted to begin today as many as 1,200 passengers.

"As of noon, there were around 700 AKAP passengers (Inter-Provincial City). It is possible that there will be up to 1,200 passengers until 24.00 WIB," said Kalideres Terminal Head Revi Zulkarnaen when contacted, Friday, December 20, as reported by Antara.

According to Revi, the number of new passengers will be seen in the afternoon. "This afternoon it has not been seen. At 12.30 WIB, only departing for Sumatra. There are only 300 passengers. It looks crowded in the afternoon," said Revi.

Furthermore, Revi revealed that the peak of passenger density at Kalideres Terminal is predicted to shift from 24 to 21 December 2024. Then from 31 December 2024 to 28 December 2024.

"Yesterday, our prediction was December 24. But there is information that it could also be tomorrow, December 21, because some of the school children have been promoted to their report cards," said Revi.

Passengers at Kalideres Terminal who want to leave for the 2024 Christmas or New Year 2025 holiday are asked to take the bus inside the terminal area for security reasons.

"It is recommended to take a bus from Kalideres Terminal, not outside the terminal. Then follow the directions of the bus PO company officers, Dishub officers, and follow directions from the driver," said Revi.

Then, passengers returning to Jakarta are also asked to get off in the terminal area.

"When passengers return from vacation or from their hometowns, they should go down at the terminal because if they arrive in the early hours of the morning and it is very prone to safety," said Revi.
