JAKARTA - Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan asked the ranks of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of DKI to ensure that all programs in the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD) 2017-2022 are implemented.

This was conveyed in the plenary session of the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) in 2021 which was held virtually.

"I ask the Bappeda ranks to investigate all programs in the RPJMD, which are in the KSD (regional strategic activities), and ensure that by 2022 all can be completed", Anies said on Wednesday, April 14.

In this Musrenbang, Anies requested that the investigation of the unfinished program be conducted by asking for input from relevant stakeholders, both direct actors, and regulators from various agencies.

"That way, the RPJMD that is handed down in the KSD which is then relegated to the government's work plan can be really carried out and we can achieve what we expect, namely Jakarta which is advancing its city, happy citizens", said Anies.

On this occasion, Anies admitted that the challenges faced in the development of Jakarta are not simple. Because there is a COVID-19 pandemic that needs many breakthroughs in order for the program to continue.

In carrying out development in Jakarta, Anies insisted his men should be able to collaborate with the central government, private sector, and the community.

"There is a lot of homework that we have to do, we can only do it when we work together. That is why in the 2021-2022 period, there needs to be collaboration in carrying out development in Jakarta", said Anies.

Anies said that the DKI provincial government should also put forward economic recovery programs. Not only facilitate large and medium-sized industries but also must give attention to micro-businesses.

"If in the past people were economically weak or vulnerable in numberless when the pandemic hits, it increased quite large. Therefore, in 2022 there needs to be seriousness to create programs related to the welfare of the people directly, especially in the aspects of health, education, and aspects of micro and small business activities", said Anies.
