The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that the report on the receipt of gratuities from the Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar was incomplete. This is due to documents that have not been properly filled out when the report was submitted on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
The Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK, Pahala Nainggolan, revealed that although the goods suspected of being gratuities had been submitted, the accompanying reports of these receipts did not meet the requirements.
"The report on the receipt of gratuities has been submitted, but there is information that has not been included in the form. Therefore, we consider this report not yet received," Pahala said in a press conference held on Thursday, November 28.
The KPK has not been able to continue the analysis process of the reported goods, because the files are not complete. The KPK is still waiting for the Minister of Religion, in this case Muhammad Ainul Yaqin, staff of the Minister of Religion, to complete the document.
"According to information, on Thursday or Friday the relevant parties will complete the file. After that, we will analyze whether the reported goods belong to the state or remain the property of the Minister of Religion," said Pahala.
The KPK has a maximum of 30 days to decide the status of the goods, and within that time, the KPK will issue a Decree regarding the status of the gratuities received.
Previously, the Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar reported that the receipt of goods was allegedly gratification to the KPK, through his staff, Muhammad Ainul Yaqin, on Tuesday, November 26.

However, Ainul also mentioned that when reporting, they were asked to fill out a number of forms as part of the gratification reporting procedure.
