JAKARTA - Bhayangkara Tk I Hospital, Police Health Center (Polri Hospital) Kramat Jati, East Jakarta (Jaktim) has received 12 body bags of victims of the fire at the PT Jati Perkasa Nusantara factory, Medan Satria District, Bekasi City, West Java, Friday 1 November.

"The body bag contains pieces of the body parts of the fire victims," said Head of the Police Hospital Brigadier General Prima Police Heru Yulihartono when met at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Friday, November 1, confiscated by Antara.

The National Police Hospital has formed a Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team to conduct examinations and identification of the bodies of fire victims.

During the examination of the body, the forensic medical team, forensic DNA, forensic odontology, forensic psychology, and the antemortem team involved.

In addition, the examination will also involve a forensic medical team from RSCM/FKUI and Forensic PDFMI Jaya. "We will conduct the examination carefully," he said.

The National Police Hospital has also established an antemortem post to receive data from the victim's family which will later be matched with the postmortem data or the victim's body. "The victim's family is on their way to the Police Hospital," he said.

The Head of the Bekasi City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Priadi Santoso, said that up to now 9 people have been found dead and taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

"Until now, nine have been found. It's from different distances, there are several rooms," he said.
