The Trial Of Opening 85 Schools In Jakarta Today, Here's The Protocol

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has conducted face-to-face learning trials (PTM) at 85 schools starting today. The levels of schools that are opened start from SD/MI, SMP/MTs, SMA/SMK/MA, to PKBM/LKP.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Agency, Nahdiana, met the criteria for further training. After attending the training for 2 (two) weeks.

"Based on the results of the training, it is stated that 85 education units meet the criteria to take part in the limited trial," said Nahdiana on Tuesday, April 6.

Nahdiana said that teachers and education personnel at the school that served as the PTM pilot project received the COVID-19 vaccination injection. This is to ensure learning activities run safely.

"Thus, the education unit continues to carry out learning from home, especially for education units that have not passed the assessment and have not yet become participants in the limited trial," said Nahdiana.

As for several health protocols that were applied in the trial for school opening, the limited number of face-to-face days was one day a week for one class level.

Then, the number of students is limited with a maximum of 50 percent of the capacity per class and a distance of 1.5 meters between students.

The study duration is limited to 3 to 4 hours per day. Learning materials are limited, that is, only essential materials are delivered in face-to-face learning.

Educational units that have attended blended learning training. Teachers and education personnel who are present at the school have been vaccinated.

Then, if there are symptoms of COVID-19 exposure in students and educators, the school will immediately coordinate with the nearest health center for further examination.

"If it is known that there is a positive case of being exposed to COVID-19, the education unit will be closed for 3x24 hours for disinfection and further tracing by the Health Service. Then, the education unit will be reopened, after the authorities declare the school is safe from exposure to COVID-19," he concluded.
