JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 hit the area near the west coast of Honshu, Japan. There have been no reports of damage to buildings.
The magnitude was released by the US Survey and Geological Agency (USGS) at 20.47 WIB, Tuesday, November 26.
Meanwhile, the European-Mediterania Seismological Center said the Japanese earthquake magnitude was 6.2 on a richter scale.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 8 km (5 miles).
"No tsunami warning has been issued," reported the Japanese public publisher agency NHK.
There have been no reports of any damage.
