JAKARTA - The United States (US) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) revealed the latest data regarding the suicide rate in the US, which has soared from 2020 to 2022.
Citing CBN News, Thursday, September 26, the agency providing information on health statistics in the US said firearms were the most widely used way of committing suicide in the US in that span of the year.
Suicide is the 11th cause of death for all ages in the US by 2022.
However, the reduction in the suicide rate will take place from 2018 to 2020 if it is classified as an age rate.
The NCHS report explains that for deaths at the age of 10-14 years and 20-34 years, suicide is the second factor in death. As for the age of 15-19, suicide is the third cause of death.
